Arriving
On Sunday mornings for our worship service, 20-30 of us meet at the Waterville Event Center, a rental hall on Waterville Monclova Rd. When you arrive in the parking lot, you'll see signs directing you to the entrance on the side of the building.
When you enter, you'll be welcomed by our greeter who will give you a bulletin that explains what will happen in the service. You are welcome to get a cup of coffee as you walk in as well.
Our Meeting Place
When you walk into the main meeting room you'll see 2 tables. One has activity sheets to help young children engage with the service and will give you good ideas to talk about at home to help them understand what was said. The other table has an array of good books on doctrine and Christian living. You're free to take a copy of any or all of them!
The Service
During the worship service, we will sing theologically-focused songs with one another using simple accompaniment. We will pray together, and then we will hear a sermon, usually from Pastor Vinnie. The sermons are "expository," which means that they come from a particular Bible text that is explained and applied.
Children are welcome during the entirety of the service, but a class is also available during the sermon time for children ages 0-4.
Before and after the service, expect to be greeted by church members who will introduce themselves and ask more about you! If you have any questions about the service that are not answered here, feel free to call Vinnie at 419-699-8548.
